Menai Straits – 21st August 2010

Saturday saw Carole, myself and John venture out on an ideal day for a 10 hour cruise. Because of the tides and the river taxi times we had to leave the pontoon around 10am and get back on the flood tide around 8pm. We had a really wonderfull sail (and I mean sail!!!) as it is not often that Carole and I have put all the canvas up on our own.
Indeed, we got all our sails up and even attempted to put up the Cruising Chute. Less said about this I think but John and I are confident that we will get it the right way up next time. It did look very pretty though.
